8 Critical thinking of Shared Bike

Shared bike once as a sustainable tool with a quick development in China and it is also spread to other countries, such as UK and Australia. However, nowadays, the negative impact caused by the shared bike exceeds the benefits it brings the society sustainable development.

The shared bike provides much more opportunities for encouraging to transport environmentally friendly. Therefore, it is popular to be used by general public. Simultaneously, the demand for the shared bike is increasing dramatically. Following the mainstream, more and more shared bike companies joined in the commercial competition. To compete with each other, the number of shared bike and the types of the shared bike is increasing in each company. Although it is good for the customers' choices, another contentious issue is created as well. 

Because of lack of shared bike infrastructure, many bikes are stopped on the sidewalk, occupy the public area and have a detrimental impact on the city view. Secondly, according to the difference of public quality, some people make the shared bike private possession, which could be one of the reasons of overload shared bike in the urban area. Another negative impact is a large number of scrapped shared bikes accumulated in the suburban area. One of the reason possibly is that these shared bike companies consideration is not complete, which means there is not complete maintenance and recycling strategy and plan. Another reason is that people who use the shared bike do not care these bikes. However, if these bikes can deal with on time, there will be a large consumption of natural and social resources, which is not sustainable.                                  

Sydney in these two years has shared bikes as well. In my opinion, lack of cycling infrastructure may be an important barrier to shared bike development in Sydney. Moreover, there is a recommendation, before the shared bike developed, the city needs to provide some related policy and sustainable strategies of the shared bike using and management.

Sydney Park Water Reuse Project is part of City of Sydney’s Decentralized Water Master Plan (2012-2030) . It designed by   Turf Design Studio & Environmental Partnership . World Trade Centre Bahrain has an amazing design which is the wind turbines. The generator windmill has a rotor speed of 38 revolutions per minute at full load and is powered by a series of gearboxes placed in the engine compartment to run the generator at 1,500 revolutions per minute. The optimal power generation design is approximately 225 kW at a wind speed of 15-20 m/s. Moreover, the fan rotor has a diameter of 29 meters and is made of 50 layers of glass fibre.
